Movement 2

The previous images of fabric were 'trying' to create a sense of movement, this range however are actually capturing fabric in motion. This feels like a huge leap from the last series of images - for the better. I really enjoy the blurred effect (although not originally desired) that occurred due to the focusing as the fabric was moving. My next step will be to try again in a different environment (maybe outdoors - this way my background will be more atmospheric) and then look at other objects for inspiration and capture their movement.

Felicity Brown; Manipulation

Felicity Brown graduated from the Royal College (Textiles) and launched her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection at London Fashion Week. The collection consisted of numerous garments adorning layers of ruffled silk which she had dip-dyed and pleated. Stockists such as Barneys (New York) and Liberty of London where amount the first to buy her debut collection.
