Final Presentation
After weeks of designing a wide range of prints loosely related to the theme of 'movement', this was my final presentation of printed samples. Each sample is digitally printed onto silk and displayed by hanging loosely from shoulder pads mounted onto a wall. Overall, I have been happy with my progress throughout the project and with the overall presentation. Next stop, degree show!

Ingrid Calame: Trace
On a recent trip to Edinburgh, I discovered an artist exhibiting at the Fruitmarket Gallery who inspires me greatly. American artist Ingrid Calame creates beautifully coloured, delicate traces and drawings loosely based on decay. Calame traces things such as stains and cracks on the ground before layering and creating something very exciting. See examples of her work below.
